Developing Solutions for Individual Clients
This license applies if you are developing unique Access-based solutions for individual clients, and would like to use OpenGate's products to create and/or enhance your database.  Opengate offers a "wholesale" license for professional consultants as follows:  Each purchase of a standard product license entitles you to use the OpenGate product to create a solution for two (2) of your clients.  You may remove all references to OpenGate Software, the product name, and the OpenGate logo EXCEPT for in the Visual Basic source code, where all copyright notices must remain intact.

Developing Products for Mass Resale
This license applies if you are developing a software product that will be sold to many customers by yourself or another party.  You may remove all references to OpenGate Software, the product name, and the OpenGate logo EXCEPT for in the Visual Basic source code, where all copyright notices must remain intact.  You may distribute your product to an unlimited number of customers without limit and without any royalties with the following license terms:
  • Your database is compiled in an MDE/ACCDE format, or your Visual Basic project is password protected
  • You provide support to your customers for any issues that arise with your product
